Average Interview – Overall Neutral Experience – Yes, and I accepted – 1 of 1 found this helpful – Mon, 27 Jun 2011

Interviewed Feb 2009 in Dallas, TX(took 2+ weeks)
Began with a phone interview. I then went in for a one on one interview with manager. Took a skills test. Good questions were asked. Was called back for a second interview with more senior management which went terribly. The manager asked almost no questions and seemed entirely bored. To my surprise I received a fairly decent offer and accepted the position. There was a drug screen and background check. The background check was extensive. They asked for w-2's from my previous employer.

Two people from the HR interviewed me. Since at that time I'm not that actively looking for a job, the whole process was quite relax. Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – No – Mon, 17 Oct 2011

Interviewed Sep 2011(took a day)
Through a personal referral I was invited to their London office for an interview. Initially the Head of Research as the potential direct supervisor, the Managing Director responsible for the Research division and someone from HR were to attend. Very friendly and accommodating conversations in planning the interview. Received a help guide with sample questions. 1st Part of the interview was with the person from HR and the Head of Research, 2nd Part with the MD, the person from HR and additionally the COO. Questions ranged from personal background, personal goals and career plans, personal interests. Some technical questions about my knowledge and qualifications. All interviewers were very nice, friendly, relaxed, sometimes joking but also serious about the questions and replies. Work culture is based heavily on personal ambition and goals. Company will run with them but one has to initiate them.

Interviewed null -1 in Boston, MA
Initial interview is a 20 minute phone call. My qualifications were in line with the position and my experience provided great benefits to the role. The HR representative noted that my experience was in alignment with their needs and I had a pleasant personality that would fit in with their culture.

Interview Questions
What is the lowest salary you would consider. There is no side stepping this question, Explaining that salary is based on value of services employee provides, demonstrated capabilities, benefits JLL would provide, and many other factors is not sufficient. They require a salary amount or the interview is terminated.
