Easy Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Fri, 23 Oct 2015

Interviewed Oct 2015 in Atlanta, GA(took 20 days)
Contacted by recruiter about the open position. A phone interview was initially scheduled with recruiter but then changed to the Hiring Manager. After speaking with the hiring manager, I was immediately contacted for the in person interview with the hiring manager. It was more of a behavioral interview to test my understanding of excel and project accounting. I knew the hiring manager really liked me and that I would be close to getting an offer. I had an additional and final interview with the project director. A few days later, I received an offer a few days later.

Interviewed Mar 2015 in Tel Aviv-Yafo(took 14 days)
One technical interview with team leader which wasn't very hard and another interview with the director of engineering, both at the same day. One more interview with the HR. Got the impression that they need to hire someone fast. My impression from the company is that the work there is very stressful. Got an offer after a few days but I decided to pass.

Phone with hiring manager, one-on-one a couple weeks later, then two-on-one the next week. All behavioral. Prep for standard questions and you should be fine. JLL is system and data heavy on the finance side. Financial technology is also important. Need good accounting skills. The fit with the team is really important. Interest in real estate is helpful.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – No – Mon, 9 Nov 2015

Interviewed Jan 2015 in New York, NY(took 30 days)
Process involved 2 phone interviews and an in-person 4 round interview. Questions ranged from fit/personality to more technical and real estate specific questions. Interviewers were fairly cordial and the questions were fair. Fit questions included why real estate, why capital markets, and why JLL. I was surprised to not receive the offer considering my background and qualifications, I think my personality did not mesh well with the interviewers. Therefore I would say the process is certainly more oriented towards finding good personal fits for the group.
